Story
At just 24 months old, little Sofia is facing challenges most toddlers never should. Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, she requires careful monitoring, special foods, and consistent care to keep her blood sugar stable.
On top of that, like any growing toddler, she goes through diapers quickly — an expense that adds up fast for her family, especially alongside the extra costs of managing her medical needs.

While all children grow at their own pace, some children experience delays in development. Special health conditions may also affect development. Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers information, support and referral services to help at no cost to families. ECSE programs provide supports and services to infants, toddlers, and preschool children with a delay or disability and their families.
