A family of six Karen refugees will be coming mid-August from spending 25 YEARS in a refugee camp in SE Asia.
This three-generation family has grandparents, BOTH in need of a wheelchair, even from day-one when their flight arrives at MSP. These wheelchairs will be vital to helping them go to and from their home to appointments in medical taxis and case managers’ vehicles. Their lightweight and foldability are really important to helping make moving around simpler. Thanks for giving the gift of mobility to our new immigrant neighbors as make Minnesota!
