Fostering Grandma Needs Hygiene & Household Items

Location: Bloomington

Category: Health, Shelter

Story

Without warning, grandma became the full-time caregiver for her three young grandchildren.

Linda didn’t hesitate to ope her home—she would do anything to keep her grandkids safe and loved. But taking on this role so suddenly has come with heavy challenges. On a fixed income, she now faces the cost of groceries, utilities, and the everyday essentials children need. Simple items like cleaning supplies, paper towels, body wash, dish soap and toothpaste, are stretching her budget beyond what she can manage this month.

Right now, Linda is trying to make impossible choices: paying her bills or keeping her home stocked with the hygiene and cleaning items that ensure her grandchildren have a safe and healthy place to grow.
