Kitchen Essentials for Malea’s Fresh Start

Category: Shelter

Story

Malea just moved into her very first place after being in recovery for over a year. It has been a long journey for her, but she has stayed committed and worked incredibly hard to rebuild her life. During her time at the Sober Dome in Minneapolis, she served as a house manager and poured so much of herself into helping other women get sober. She continues to give back by teaching a class on phlebotomy and working part-time, doing everything she can to stay on her feet.

Right now, every dollar she earns is going toward rent, and she doesn’t have much left to set up her new home. One thing she really needs is a good set of pots and pans. Malea loves to cook, and having a nice set would help her save money by making meals at home—and it would be such a blessing after all she’s given to others.

We would love to help her get the kitchen essentials she needs so she can start this next chapter feeling supported and settled.
