Story
A woman has moved her 10 year old daughter, 21 year old son and herself into an apartment as a result of quickly needing to leave an unhealthy living situation. The initial focus was securing a new residence and now that they are moved in she is finding herself in need of kitchen supplies to replace items they left behind.
This woman was incarcerated and released 3 years ago. She has found a job as a manager in a retail store. Therefore, she has established security for herself and can afford her own rent. Her 21 year old son also helps out by assisting with car repairs when needed and recognizing that it wouldn’t be healthy for his girlfriend to move in with them as she doesn’t positively contribute to the household. This family is working hard on building stability for their future!
