Story

This summer, we are excited to take a group of youth to the Boundary Waters for a first-time camping experience. Many of the young people we serve have never had the opportunity to explore the outdoors, and this trip will give them the chance to disconnect from daily stress, build confidence, and experience the beauty of nature firsthand.

To make this trip successful and accessible for all participants, we are working to provide essential camping and fishing equipment. Having the proper gear such as cooking supplies, and basic fishing equipment will allow youth to safely and comfortably experience life in the wilderness while learning practical outdoor skills.

Fishing will also be an important part of the experience. Youth will learn the basics of casting, patience, and respecting the natural environment while spending meaningful time on the water. By providing the necessary camping and fishing items, we can ensure that every participant has the opportunity to fully engage in this adventure, build new skills, and create lasting memories in the Boundary Waters.

Our goal is to help young people build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve their full potential....
