Story

Jose and his wife were seeking asylum in the US. He worked for a company for months. The company ended up withholding all of his payments, knowing that he would not be able to afford to pursue legal action. He was connected with out Resource Navigator, Michelle, and connected to the community at the Life Center. He has been working odd jobs but is still struggling to make ends meet. Last week, his wife just gave birth to their daughter. They walk everywhere, including miles to the local food shelf. A stroller would help them tremendously!
