Story
Recently, we’ve been helping a mother and her son by providing them with groceries and meals. As we got to know the son, who is entering his senior year of high school, he confided in us that he cannot read. Unfortunately, as a first-generation student, he has fallen through the cracks of the education system.
He is eager to learn and wants to go to college to study business. We will be working with him one-on-one to help him develop his reading skills. This resource would be incredibly valuable in our efforts.
